How Does EVestG™ Work

The EVestG System consists of the component parts shown in the diagram below:

The patient is seated in a tilt chair, with sensors attached via a headset in each ear, connected to a desktop transponder. The chair is then tilted in accordance with a designed program to stimulate vestibular response in the patient.

The Diagnostic Process

FIGURE 1C – EVestG Diagnostic Process with Cloud-based Signal Analysis

  1. The Patient vestibular system signal is recorded following chair tilt stimulation, together with Biodata on the Clinical PC, which packages the recorded, coded and encrypted file and transmits it for secure Cloud analysis.

  2. The Cloud-based server analyses the signal file, using the secure NEER Algorithm, and compares results against Normative Databases of validated biomarker profiles for specific conditions.

  3. A diagnostic Probability Report is sent to the treating clinician to support a formal diagnostic decision using subjective and objective data (similar to blood biomarker test reports).

An example of the evaluation results distinguishing between patients exhibiting normal (Control), Major Depression (MDD) and Bipolar Disorder (BD) is illustrated below.
